May 12th, 2013 (Leafs beat Bruins to force a game #7!!)
Well... just a quick summary as I am sure the real question is WHO WON THE POOL!!!
Walking back from Tribal, Erik has a medical emergency and is pulled from the game, Brent who has held the lead for most of this pool is devistated with this blow as this takes out he remaining player!!!!
Challenge Time!
This challenge is a stacking of cards while balancing the table with 1 arm..Everyone has lost their stack at least once so far, Dawn was one level away from the win when she toppled hers. Cochran is perhaps having the hardest time out of the group until he comes from behind to win! (3 points Cochran)
Final Immunity Challenge Time!
Cochran gets an advantage which is his bags will already be untied for him, a huge huge advantage in my opinion. While it seem like it was going to be a Cochran run away, Eddie and Dawn catch up and Dawn passes him in the puzzle building.... Once Cochran gets the hang of the puzzle, Look out.... he smokes through the rest and wins final immunity! (3 points Cochran)
At final tribal concil Cochran has control of the game and chooses to take Dawn over Eddie, a wise decision!
Dawn Sherri and Cochran get 1 point for surviving
Now to the votes for the final Winner...We only get to see 5 votes and they are all for Cochran!!!
Cochran gets 15 points for winning
Sherri and Dawn each get 10 points as they tie for 2nd (0 votes)
Player of the year, Malcolm gets 7 points
Distribution of points:
Cochran gets 3 point for winning each challenge + 1 point for surviving tribal concil and making it to final 3 + 15 points for winning = 22 points
Dawn gets 1 point for surviving tribal concil and making it to final 3 + 10 points for a tie for 2nd place =11
Sherri gets 1 point for surviving tribal concil and making it to final 3 + 10 points for a tie for 2nd place =11
Erik and Eddie both get no points
Malcolm gets 7 points
Ricardo jumps from 2nd into 1st to take the WIN!!!! ($369)
Brent gets bumped to second place ($158)
Leslee jumps from 11 to 3rd to make a huge jump to 3rd place!!!! (unfortunitly he was 3 points short of placing in the money!)
THE LEAFS BEAT THE BRUINS TO FORCE A GAME #7!!!!
Congrats to the winners and look for Survivor to return in September

May 1st, 2013 (LEAFS START PLAYOFFS!!!!!)
It was double the fun this week on Survivor 2013 Caramoan as we saw two immunity challenges, two Tribal Councils and one big blindisde.
The episode started out with cocky Cochran, and I must say it’s pretty annoying. Luckily that clip is cut short as they tribe finds some tree-mail.
It’s not good news. It means there’s an immunity challenge right away and a Tribal Council again that night. For the Immunity Challenge, the players must balance on a triangle platform in the water. The last person left standing wins immunity. So it’s a game of balance and endurance. Jeff offers a plate of donuts and milk if someone wants to leave the challenge. Erik and Eddie take the donuts. Wow. Wow. Wow. Eddie. What a fool. Next Jeff offers some hotdogs and a soda. Cochran jumps and eats the hot dogs. Dawn is the first one out by fault, then Sherri follows right after, then Reynold is out. That leaves Andrea and Brenda, the trust game is on. Does this alliance not trust one another? A deal is not even an option. Very interesting.
Brenda falls first so Andrea wins immunity. Reward in the form of information in the game, Jeff hands her the info and she can do with it what she wishes, like a fool she promised to share it with Brenda and of course it was a clue for the hidden immunity idol.
The alliance finds the idol and Cochran’s cocky streak continues.
Finally Andrea starts talking about turning on one of her own, because really, this obsession with getting Reynold and Eddie out are distracting them and they’re not playing for the endgame. So maybe they’ll go with this thought and stray from the Reynold and Eddie obsession and throw a blindside to Brenda. But don’t hold your breath.
It’s time for the first Tribal Council. We get the typical Tribal beating around the bush and before I roll my eyes any further, let’s get to the vote.

For the next round, the alliance of six is seeing the beginning of the end as they’re focusing on possibly targeting Andrea instead of Eddie. But she does have an idol. It’s time for the second Immunity Challenge. This time it’s an obstacle course/puzzle challenge. Erik wins this immunity challenge with ease. See you later, Eddie. Some more talk goes on about this and that and that and this but we know it’s just going to be Eddie. So let’s get to Tribal Council. Andrea decided not to play the idol.

This week’s episode of Survivor 2013 Caramoan picked up right after that insane Tribal Council from last week and the others are actually praising Malcolm, Eddie and Reynold. But Malcolm knows that he and the other two guys can’t make it without bringing some of that alliance over to their side.
Erik realizes this is his shot to ride the fence and might be able to play both sides and vote with either of his choosing. Cochran praises the move saying it left him “breathless” and “terrified.” Us too, Cochran, us too.
OK, as hard as it is to leave behind last week’s episode, we must. So the Tree Mail comes along with envelopes filled with $500 each. It’s time for the Survivor food auction!!!
The first item up is beer and pretzels. It goes to Malcolm for $20. The next item is a blind item. It goes to Reynold for $180. He finds out it’s one slice of pizza. But he gave up the rest of the pizza. Then Sherri shouts out that she will give her whole $500 for the pizza.
Up next is a roasted chicken. And Dawn shouts out $500! And it goes to her. Why aren’t these people negotiating?
After that is information in the game. It goes to Malcolm for $480. It’s a clue to finding a hidden immunity idol.
The next item is hidden. It goes to Andrea for $280. She finds out it’s a dish of pasta and a glass of wine. She can trade it for rice and beans for the whole tribe. She makes the right decision and goes with the tribe food.
The next item is an advantage in the next immunity challenge. It’s sold to Cochran.
Another secret item. It goes to Brenda for $300. It was pig brain. Ack.
And then Jeff pulls out letters from home. They can each buy their letters for only $20 each. And Dawn and Sherri are feeling like idiots for blowing their whole $500 on single items.
Eddie buys some peanut butter for $200 and he gets to share it with the tribe.
After the auction, the Three Amigos get to work on Sherri and Erik. The boys know if they get Sherri and Erik, they’d be the majority and could go to the final five together.
It sounds like a good idea to me, but will Sherri and Erik buy it?
That night, Malcolm gets to work looking for the hidden immunity idol based on the clue he was given. And then he gets busted by Andrea and Cochran. And they’re going to watch him to make sure he doesn’t find it. Cochran leaves, but Andrea stays. And a standoff ensues.
Malcolm has no luck so it’s time to try for the Immunity Challenge. This week’s challenge they have to hold onto a rope that’s holding up a heavy log and they have to slowly let the rope slack. If they drop the log, they’re out.
Cochran has the advantage that allows him to regrip one time during the challenge. And it was a definite advantage because he wins immunity.
Malcolm is back to working on Sherri and she’s intrigued but she keeps flip-flopping. Meanwhile, Reynold is working on Erik. So who knows how it’s going to go.
Of course the others are all targeting Malcolm. So let’s just get to Tribal Council and see how it plays out.

In what people are calling the BEST TRIBAL COUNCIL ever , this week’s Survivor 2013 Caramoan left not many people without their jaws on the floor. This week’s episode picks up right after the last Tribal Council. Stealths R Us, which is everyone (beyond their control) except for Malcolm, Reynold and Eddie, excuse themselves to talk about the other three. And they’re very obvious about it. Phillip and company are talking about what they’re going to do next to get one of those three out. And at this point, Cochran is the only one as embarrassed by Phillip’s stupid alliance. The next day we get right into the Dawn insanity/breakdown. Everyone can hear her just throwing a complete crying fit. What we didn’t know during all the previews was that Dawn had a partial denture that she lost in the water. And she is so self-conscious about it she threatens to pull herself from the game. Brenda goes scuba diving and finds her fake teeth. So crisis averted. Embarrassment, however, was not averted.
It’s Reward Challenge time. This week they’re playing in two teams of five, one person from each team will race through a series of obstacles into a muddy pit where they'll search for a bag of balls, then they have to shoot the balls through a basket.
The winners will be taken to a nice resort for a fancy lunch.
The teams are:
Purple: Reynold, Erik, Dawn, Cochran and Phillip
Orange: Malcolm, Eddie, Andrea, Brenda and Sherri
Purple wins reward. So they head off to the resort for a shower, some good food and swimming, despite the shower being available, Phillip gets right into the pool and all of his dirt and rice and a month of nasty comes off in it. How disrespectful. Shower first, you fool.
Oh, it’s time for more Dawn insanity. This time she’s whoa paranoid that she’s going to be blindsided this week. All she’s really doing is drawing attention to her, which is not a good idea.
It’s Immunity Challenge time. It’s a racey, swimmy and quick challenge. In the first group, the two people moving on to the final round are Reynold and Andrea. During the next group, Phillip decides to sit out the challenge. What a freak. Moving on to the final round were Brenda and Malcolm. So it’s those two versus Reynold and Andrea. Reynold wins immunity. And there goes Stealths R Us’ plan to target Reynold. And Malcolm has his hidden Idol, so bye bye, Eddie. Right? I think they should target Phillip. Especially after he chose to not participate in the challenge. And he’s annoying beyond words. Everyone is on the hunt for a hidden immunity idol and Malcolm finds it. "Another one!" Dawn and Andrea see it so Stealths R Us plans to target Eddie and Eddie knows it.
At Tribal everyone agrees that Reynold was going to be the target. Then he won immunity so then they say Malcolm was the target. But he found (another) immunity idol. So they all say, yeah, Eddie is the target. So that can’t be the outcome, right? Right. Malcolm finally realizes he has an alliance in Eddie and Reynold. So, Malcolm gives the other idol he’s had hidden to Eddie. EPIC. That was so amazing. What a game changer. And then Malcolm says “I’m just throwing this out there, the three of us are voting for Phillip.”
Ha.
And they still don’t know who to vote for. When they should just vote for Phillip and be done with it.Eddie and Malcolm decide to play their immunity idols.

This week’s episode of Survivor 2013 Caramoan is being called one of the best in years because of what went down during Tribal Council. I’m just going to award it the most confusing episode ever.
At the start of the episode, we get a Phillip and Sherri scene that was just creepy and uncomfortable. Thankfully we get right to the reward challenge.
The tribe meets up with Jeff Probst. He tells him they’ll divide into two teams of five. It’s sort of a game of soccer only there’s water involved and they can use their hands.
The winning team will repell down a waterfall for a picnic lunch. Sweet.
Purple: Eddie, Erik, Reynold, Michael and Cochran
Orange: Brenda, Andrea, Dawn, Phillip and Malcolm.
Sherri was not picked.
Purple wins. Duh. The only surprise there was that Malcolm was not on the purple team.
The Purple Team does their thing and have an annoying bro, bro, I love you bro, man, dude, moment . Back at the camp, Malcolm and Sherri are talking game and trying to find out what’s going to go down this week. And as soon as Malcolm steps away, the others gang up on him. They decide to let him think he’s making a Reynold/Eddie blindside but they’ll really be voting for a Malcolm blindside. Game on.
Showmance alert. Can Andrea and Eddie be falling for each other or is it just gameplay? Whatever it is, they cued the romantic music and we got a few “I like yous” and yada, yada, yada.
It’s Immunity Challenge time. Jeff tells them they’ll each take a spot in the water under a steel grate. And the water will slowly rise and they’ll eventually be submerged. The last person to remain under the water wins immunity.
Phillip is out first. Sherri is out second. Then Erik. Dawn is the fourth person out. Malcolm is out next. Michael is out. Eddie is the next out. Then Reynold and Cochran. In the end, Brenda wins immunity.
After the challenge, some serious games of deception take place. Malcolm thinks he’s running the game. Andrea thinks she’s in charge. Everyone is lying to everyone else and even I’m confused about what the hell is going on. Reynold shows Dawn his idol. Reynold threatens her. And I’m even more confused.
Then Andrea and Eddie talk and yeah, It’s your typical pre-Tribal council cluster that never turns out as you expect. So let’s just get to the vote before I go insane.
At Tribal Council Phillip shows all his crazy at once. And Eddie, Reynold and Michael learn that they’re in a group of eight versus three since Sherri has joined Phillip’s delusional Stealths R Us. Or at least Phillip thinks that’s what’s going on.
As Reynold is about to play his hidden immunity idol, Malcolm tells him not to because the others voted for him, Malcolm. He convinces Reynold to give him the idol and Reynold does. Which was just stupid. But in the end, it didn’t even matter.

April 3rd,
This week’s episode of Survivor 2013 Caramoan opens with more Phillip craziness. I’m almost tiring of it. This time he is saying “I thew the challenge.” Blah, blah, blah. What is wrong with this person? And what is wrong with everyone who has not voted him off the show?
After the credits the Gota Tribe sees a boat coming their way. The men on board deliver a letter that’s basically telling them it’s merge time. They load up their belongings, jump on the boat and head to their new home as a merged tribe.
They get a little celebratory feast and new buffs.
But what about a name? Enil Edam. Malcolm says it means new beginning, but it’s really just his mom’s name backward. Horrible tribe name, but a clever way to nod to Malcolm’s mother.
And now the moment I know I’ve been waiting for. It’s an eating challenge! And it’s for immunity.
The rules are simple, race to get down local delicacies. They will square off in rounds. The first three to finish move on. The first delicacy is beetle larvae. Andrea, Malcolm and Eddie move on from the first round. Sherri, Corrine and Erik are out. For the next group of six, it’s also beetle larvae. Cochran, Phillip and Michael move on. Reynold, Dawn and Brenda are out. So now they’re down to six. And this time they have to eat ship worms. They’re called ship worms because they eat through wood (boats). Malcolm, Eddie and Cochran move on. The three remaining guys have to eat duck embryos. Feathers and all. Cochran and Malcolm move on. Eddie is out. So Cochran and Malcolm have to eat pig brain. That’s so gross. Cochran wins!
You know what time it is! It’s time for the who are we going to send home!? Mash-up! Also known as: My least favorite part of every single episode.
So let me sum it up briefly: they all talk about who they want to go home and toss around 10 different names, then change their minds, then say the word blindside two or three times, then decide and we all get really confused and then we head off to Tribal Council.

March 27, 2013
This week on Survivor 2013 Caramoan Phillip continued to annoy everyone, including Jeff Probst, yet he still managed to not be voted off. But more on that later.
The tribe is mourning Matt. Like a lot. Um, then why did you send him home? Yeah, yeah, they had to send someone home. And for some reason it wasn’t Phillip. Which is basically what Corinne is wondering. Why not get rid of Phillip?
Meanwhile, Phillip wants rid of Corinne. And he tells Cochran he wants it done before the merge.
We jump to the next day. The Bikal Tribe gets some tree mail. And it’s about being strong in the next challenge. So Phillip says he’s got that covered and everyone is annoyed. Which is the norm now with Phillip. He’s hammering those nails into his coffin furiously.
So it’s time to head off to the Reward Challenge. The Tribes meet up with Jeff and get a look at the new Bikal Tribe without Matt. It’s a team challenge. They’ll be chained together and will be carrying 20-pound sandbags and must race in a circle and the first tribe to reach the other tribe wins.
And they’re playing for a Survivor-style coffee bar. Cookies, brownies, coffee.
Despite Phillip being a blowhard about how awesome he is, he’s making his tribe lose basically the entire time. And it’s not even a challenge. Gota wins. Easily. Actually, a better way to word it would be Bikal loses. Embarrassingly. The target on Phillip’s back gets bigger.
Gora heads off to their coffee bar, or “diarrhea fest” as someone from the Bikal Tribe called it.
Back at Brikal, all talk is on Phillip, of course. So it’s starting to sound like he’s in trouble unless they win immunity. And then I’m reminded that Julia exists. So I have to pause and think about that for a moment. OK. Yeah. I still don’t remember her. Has she seen any camera time, have we heard her speak at all yet.....I cant recall.
Malcolm starts trying to build the alpha male alliance that we all new was coming. Malcolm and Reynold seal a deal and Reynold even tells him he’s got the idol. So Malcolm, since he has the other, knows where both idols are.
Back at the Bikal camp, people are coming apart at the seams. Phillip turns on Julia and decides she needs to go over Corinne, but I’m pretty sure everyone else is still looking at Phillip.
Now let’s head to the Immunity Challenge. In the challenge, they have to paddle a boat to a dock, dive in the water, retrieve a statue, put it in the boat and paddle it back to shore. And then they have to put the statue on a tower and then try to score five keys then try to unlock a lock to raise the statue to the top of the tower.
Gota wins. Of course. And Bikal spirits are low as they have to again go to Tribal Council.
Phillip pulls Cochran aside and tells him that he threw the challenge all because he wants to send Julia out before the merge. Give us a break, Phillip! So ridiculous!
OK, enough of this, let’s get to Tribal Council. And I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for the merge. These Bikal tribals are booooooooring.

This week’s episode of Survivor 2013 Caramoan saw a tribe shake-up which resulted in a very uneven tribe power blanace.
At the top of the episode the favorites are still reeling over Brandon Hantz’s elimination. It was their first unanimous vote and someone said “we’re united.” I don’t know if I’d go that far. You were just getting rid of a person who pretty much insisted on going. But OK.
The Tribes right away head off to meet Jeff for a challenge? No, it’s not a challenge. When they arrive he tells them to drop their buffs and that they’re switching tribes. They castaways get eggs that they have to smash on themselves. The color that comes out decides their new tribes.
The New Tribes
Orange/Gota: Eddie, Reynold, Malcolm, Andrea, Sherri, Erik, Brenda
Purple/Bikal: Corrine, Phillip, Michael, Matt, Cochran, Dawn, Julia
The Gota Tribe is way more powerful than the other. This is a very uneven shake-up. We can already see where this is going to go. Poor Bikal.
It doesn’t take long for Sherri to start trying to carry over the Reynold and Eddie hate into the new Tribe. But of course Eddie and Reynold are doing the same thing with Sherri. Hilarious and typical.
It’s time for the fist immunity challenge with the new tribes. This should be interesting. Two members will race to roll large crates. Once they’ve retrieved all the crates they have to position them along steps to form the correct phrase, “Fans Vs. Favorites.” First team to finish wins. And as you’d expect Gota is dominating the competition from the start. Bikal not so much.
So it goes without saying that Gota wins immunity and Bikal will head to Tribal Council later. Darn. I was hoping to see if Reynold and Eddie or Sherri would win that little battle to be the first to go from the new tribe dynamic.
So who are the Bikal members going to target? I’d probably say let’s just ditch Phillip so we don’t have to listen to his annoying stories anymore. But they’re no one else is exactly feeling that. So who will it be?
Phillip, Matt and Michael want to target Julia. Or at least I think that’s who they’re targeting. Because Phillip went off on a tangent about all the stupid nicknames he gives people in his alliances. Then Julia stumbles onto Matt and Michael and Cochran’s name comes up. And in typical Survivor fashion, I get confused because they want to make sure no one knows who is getting voted out for suspense reasons. So let’s just get to Tribal Council.
Tribal Council was a bit weird because no one hates anyone and there was no clear target. Yet for some reason, the show spent a lot of time on the chatter. Zzzzz.

March 13th, 2013
This week Survivor 2013 Caramoan made history as a tribe member was voted off the island on the spot before the immunity challenge was even played.
The Brandon Hantz show starts off right away when he’s talking about feeling guilty about leaving his family to play Survivor and he says he’ll volunteer to go out during the next Tribal Council.
He also admits to the tribe that he was ready to pee on the rice and burn the camp down. He apologizes, but that doesn’t stop the others from thinking he’s crazy.
And the next day, he calls a meeting and he’s already changed his mind. That’s usually how a mentally unstable person works though. They go up and down and back and forth. I really don’t understand why he was allowed on the show. But whatever.
It’s reward challenge time. It’s a game of coconut basketball, only two tribe members from each team have to hold up the nets as they fill with coconuts. They have to try to not let their nets drop. If they drop, they lose.
The person left standing wins the reward for their tribe. They’re playing for sausage, steaks, veggies and wine. Holding the nets are Phillip, Brandon, Matt and Michael. People are targeting Brandon first, so he is the fist to drop. Matt is the second to drop. So there’s one fan and one favorite left. In the end, Michael drops so Favorites win as Phillip is the only left holding the net. The fans tribe are bummed once again and their morale sinks even lower. Except for Reynold. He AGAIN finds the hidden immunity idol. Hilarious.
And even though the fans are down and out, they’re not the root of this week’s drama, surprisingly enough. OK, it’s not surprising at all. We know that the drama is coming from the Favorites. Even though they’re enjoying a delicious barbecue. That’s because Brandon and Phillip are on a team together.
Brandon is annoyed because Phillip is taking credit for winning the challenge. And Brandon’s ego is damaged for dropping out. And Phillip is being kind of a ridiculous, so it gets Brandon going. They try to talk it out and Brandon apologizes and Phillip spouts some mumbo jumbo and all is good. Or is it?
In fact, Phillip is considering throwing the challenge just to get everyone to vote Brandon out. And Brandon realizes what’s up. So he calls Phil out to have another discussion. And then Brandon snaps. And he pours the rice and beans out. So no one on the camp can eat. Lovely, you crazy person.
And then he screams “I’m the author of my fate.” Yeah. Insane.
Who knows what happened immediately next, but what we get is everyone showing up at the Immunity Challenge. But before they can play, Brandon wants to talk to the other tribe. Brandon spouts off something to the other tribe, but he is interrupted by Corrine who says they want to go to Tribal now and not play the game. They want to go now and take care of things…
Jeff calls Brandon over to explain what’s going on. What he does is have a meltdown. This goes on way too long and I’m as uncomfortable as Dawn and Adnrea.
Jeff is concerned. So he says OK, let’s go to Tribal.
The Fans get immunity and the Favorites have instant Tribal Council. Brandon is unanimously voted out right then and there. He’s the sixth person voted off Survivor Caramoan. And his final words: “Phillip, you’re a bitch.”
FAvs get 1 point for winning challenge
Fans get 1 point for winning immunity (well not winning but getting it given to them)
Reynold gets another 5 points for finding another idol!!!
All but Brendon get 1 point for surviving the week

March 6th, 2013
This week’s episode of Survivor 2013 Caramoan starts off with the fans at each others’ throats. Eddie and Reynold are now the outcasts of the tribe despite their “muscle.” But like Michael said, they’re not winning challenges WITH those two, so why couldn’t they try the game without?
Reynold still has his immunity idol, but Eddie has no protection. But right now, this is all neither here nor there as who knows how the rest of the game is going to play out this week.
Meanwhile, over at the favorites camp, Phillip is rambling on about all the dumb nicknames he’s given all of his tribemates. I can’t keep track of everyone’s names and I don’t really want to. I had originally thought that Andrea was left out of this, but no, Phillip has named them all.
It’s reward challenge time. This week they’re playing for the reward of a local bushman’s visit. WHAT? That sounds not good. Until Jeff explains it. He will come with food (chicken, fruit, etc.) and improve every aspect of their lives, Jeff says. It was a very close game, but in the end the Favorites win the reward.
The tiny little bushman arrives at the Favorites’ camp and starts whipping everything into shape. No one can really understand him and Malcolm sums it up best: “He’s like a Filipino Gollum.”
Back at the Gota Tribe camp, the fans are sulking in their latest lost. Reynold and Eddie are doing the usual and talking smack about Shamar. I’m not saying they shouldn’t
be. I know I would be too. He basically does nothing all day long and he’s managed to not be voted off the show yet.
FINALLY, the others seem to be catching on to what Reynold and Eddie have been seeing. At one point, Shamar even tells the others that he won’t quit if they let him lay around all day and SERVE him his rice. Wow. This can’t be for real. Can it?
And then the storm comes. And the rats. All the rats. The fans are all huddled in their tiny little shelter as a Hurricane blows in. And then they’re suddenly swamped with rats. And in typical Survior fashion, it’s over as soon as it’s begun.
The next morning, Shamar’s lunacy continues. Now he’s rocking back and forth and whining about a piece of sand in his eye. So his distress sends in Jeff to assess the situation. Jeff sees that it is actually swollen. A medic checks out his eye and they conclude that he has some damage to his cornea and that he should be pulled from the
game.
Shamar sort of pretends that he doesn’t want to go, but we all know he really wants to go. He pretends to doubt it some more and then shrugs and is all, OKBYE.
With Shamar gone, Eddie and Reynold know that the plan will go back to getting one of them out. So they know they have to fight in the immunity challenge.
Speaking of, it’s immunity challenge time. It’s not an easy challenge, either. They have to run across floating squares, dive, swim, climb, jump, retrieve a key, and bring it back. Once they have five keys the other two players will try to knock down blocks on a ledge.
The favorites get an early lead and hold on the whole time and once again win the challenge. But Reynold almost made a fantastic comeback. Almost.
Once again the Fans are heading to Tribal. And Reynold and Eddie know their done for. Well, Eddie is. Reynold can play his immunity idol. But finally Matt has an obvious thought and that’s to keep the muscle to at least try to win something. And in turn ditch Laura. Just your typical Survivor flip-flopping. Enough of that, let’s get to Tribal and find out what really happens.
The most notable thing that happened was that Reynold did play his immunity idol.

February 28, 2013
This week’s episode of Survivor 2013 Caramoan picks up after Allie’s elimination and the fans are talking about what to do now that the click is busted up. Reynold tells them “game on” and Shamar starts in on everyone for the votes he received during Tribal Council.
Shamar keeps going and he’s getting more amped up and yells at everyone before the night is over. And he looks very scary in night vision.
The next day Reynold is still fired up and he calls what happened the night before “revenge of the nerds.” And his Eddie’s focus is still on Shamar.
Meanwhile, Shamar is feeling like the black sheep, as he says, and it sounds like he’s already giving up. He’s questioning whether or not he should even be in the game. And it’s clear that he’s not enjoying himself and that’s going to start showing in how he competes.
Over at the Favorites camp, Malcolm and Corinne have paired up since they’re the only ones who haven’t formed a bond or had a pre-existing one. And off on a search for the hidden immunity idol, Malcolm finds it. And he trusts Corinne with the knowledge and they hide it together and seal the deal on a two-person alliance.
A few of the others are not feeling the Corinne love, however, and she’s on their radar. So will Malcolm’s idol come in handy to protect Corinne? Brandon starts rambling about IF he’s the target because I think he has a way of always making things about him. That’s where all the threats he was making in the previews come in. They were just hypothetical threats. Not real ones. Typical bogus editing.
Back over at the fans camp, Shamar is opening up to the other players, telling them about his time in Iraq and after. He said it took a lot of time to crawl out of a dark place, but he’s learned to love himself again. But the attitudes he’s dealt with since joining the game has set him back a bit. He’s seriously considering quitting the game.
Someone reminds him that if he quits AND they go to tribal, they could lose two people in one week. So he says he’ll stick around. Drama queen? Strategy? Who
knows.
A this week’s immunity challenge, the tribes are play for immunity of course, but they’re also playing for comfort: chairs, pillow, blanket and a tarp. It’s a free-for-all challenge where they’re all competing at the same time. They have to race out to the water, over a bamboo wall, release a heavy chest and drag it back to the beach. Once back at the beach they have to build a track and move the chest to the end of the line.
After a close race, the favorites win. The fans will have to visit Tribal Council once again.
Following the challenge, it’s once again Reynold vs. Shamar. Reynold doesn’t even get to say a word to him before Shamar calls him disgusting and starts arguing over some issue with goggles during the challenge.
The others know that they need Eddie and Reynold to win challenges, so the focus shifts to Hope. The plan is to try to split the votes between Eddie and Hope so that if Reynold plays the idol … yeah, you get it. But let’s see how it plays out. Meanwhile, Sherri is continuing to puppeteer Shamar until they can eliminate Eddie, Hope and Reynold.
Shamar tries to plant it in Hope that if she votes for Eddie, that the vote will not split and Eddie will go home, saving herself. Tricky, sneak Shamar! I like it. He’s playing such a strange game. And then the others find out that he told Hope. So anything can happen at Tribal, including Shamar’s exit.
And it all comes out at Tribal Counci. The Shamar Show continues and he’s either sealing his fate or just adding to an already confusing Tribal Council. Let’s see how
the votes went down.
The votes:
Shamar III
Hope III
Eddie III
It’s a three-way tie. The revote is up. Eddie, Hope and Shamar can’t vote.
During the revote, Hope gets three votes, which is enough to send her out of the game. If there’s ever been proof that a strong and obvious alliance so early is not a good idea, the past two weeks are it.
Points:
Malcolm gets 5 point for finding Idol!
All Favs get 1 point for winning challenge
Everyone but hope get 1 point for surviving!

This week’s Survivor 2013 Caramoan opens on the favorites reeling after Francesca was eliminated at the first Tribal Council. For some reason Brandon is really upset. So he and Dawn are arguing. Dawn goes off and cries and can’t understand how Brandon can be so mean. I guess she doesn’t know much about the Hantz family.
Meanwhile, Brandon is fed up and feeling “revengeful.” So he’s thinking of going “Russell Hantz style.” He’s having a typical crazy country boy moment that makes no sense. He wants to play dirty and go out with a bang. Yada yada. The worst villains are the ones that try to be a villain.
The next day the Gota tribe (the fans) are getting settled in and personality types are starting to come out. Shamar is laying low. Some of the others are deciding that he’s lazy and if they go to Tribal, he’ll be the one to go.
Back at the Bikal tribe camp, Brandon has settled down and Cochran is trying to keep some sense flowing through him. And Brandon decides to try to play the game as clean as possible. “The best thing I can do is be nice,” he says.
Cochran realizes that he’s somewhat of a sociopath. Then later Phillip diagnoses him as a narcissist . I could say a lot here, but I’m not ready to start pulling out my psychology knowledge. I’ll try to stay on task and not diagnose Brandon’s psychological disorder. And it’s already immunity challenge time!!!! It’s your typical Survivor water course/ring toss. They’re playing for immunity, of course, and a complete fishing kit. The favorites easily win the challenge. The fans get to go to their first Tribal Council and as Reynold says, the obvious vote will be for Shamar. Which means it won’t be Shamar. That’s too obvious.
Speaking of Reynold and Shamar, the two of them have it out back at camp over Shamar’s “it is what it is” attitude. Reynold tells him that it’s not acceptable and that he’s going to vote out Shamar at Tribal.
But his alliance is really only made up of four. Shamar is in one with five others. So I think Reynold’s couples group might be outnumbered. Or are they? Matt and the Michael are still kind of in the middle of both alliances.
Reynold finds the hidden immunity idol after barely trying, so he’s in a good place. The fans head off to Tribal Council where everyone talks about the little clique that’s formed within their tribe. And Shamar’s seemingly lazy nature comes up where he reminds everyone that he’s done tours of duty in Iraq. Gee, does anyone think it might be a strategy?
Laura calls out Reynold. Well, Jeff makes her, basically. She doesn’t understand why he brought it to Tribal. As if that’s not what you’re supposed to do with the Idol. Things got a little weird and confusing, so let’s just see how the votes go.
The vote:
Shamar: 4
Allie: 6
Favs Get 1 point for winning challenge/immunity
Favs get 1 point for surviving
all Fans but Allie get 1 point for surviving
Reynold gets 5 points for finding the 1st idol
So the stas looks like this!!

February 19th, 2013
Survivor 2013 Camaroan kicked off Wednesday night as super fans came face to face with fan favorites for a battle of show experts.
The show opened on a brief intro of the newbies and a full recount of the returning players during their original seasons. Then we get into the real begging of the season. The new castaways arrive on the island and are greeted by Jeff Probst. They can immediately see there are two tribe designations.
Jeff wastes no time telling them they’ll be playing against some of their past favorite players. And they returning players show up in helicopters. One by one they’re greeted by the favorites. Jeff then tosses the buffs and sends them right into the first challenge. They’re playing for fire and 20 pounds of beans.
The favorites easily win the first challenge and Malcolm is the first player to lose his shorts. If you’re keeping track this season.
And then they head off to camp. The fans are the Gota Tribe and they start building shelter and the drama starts IMMEDIATELY. This is going to be a dramatic group. That becomes clear fast.
The favorites, or the Bikal Tribe, make their way to their camp as well. They’re all getting along well and more worried about their own strategies as opposed to starting instant drama.
Back to the fans, we’re getting to know them and I’m not liking them much yet. They’re kind of irritating and Reynold and Allie are seriously going to hook up on Day One? Wow. So they’re immediately a target. Well for that reason and the fact that the two of them and Eddie and Hope are acting like a-hole high school kids.
It’s time for the first immunity challenge. The fans take a quick lead but then the favorites take control. And with Malcolm at the end of the challenge to finish it off, it should be an easy win. But it’s not. The fans come back and win the first immunity challenge. That means a favorite will be the first person voted off Survivor 2013. Totally didn’t see that one coming.
So let the scrambling begin. Who are they going to vote out? The discussion begin and a lot of different names are being tossed out. So it looks like it’ll be Phillip or Francesca or Corinne. Or Andrea. Or who knows! It’s always the same kind of talk with Survivor. You know how it goes. Let’s just head to Tribal Council and find out.
At Tribal Council I almost fell asleep because it was a pretty boring one. Jeff was asking questions in the form of statements and Phillip was as annoying as ever and Cochran geeked out. Same ole, same ole. So how did the voting go?
Let’s see.
The Votes
Andrea: 4
Francesca: 6
Francesca is once again the first person voted off.
All Favs get 1 point for winning challenge
All Fans get 1 point for winning immunity
All players but Francesca get 1 point for surviving the week!!!
All players are tied with 10 points as no one had the only person that got voted out, this is a first
